Jane Delahunt, CIT

Jane began her career in programming while working for Pony Pride Training in 2014. She oversaw the summer camps through management of itineraries, registration elements, and staffing requirements. Jane began working as a student Facility Manager at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in 2016. During her time as a Facility Manager, Jane had the opportunity to work with both state and national governing bodies through MN Hockey and USA Hockey High Performance Camps. Jane used her experience with programming to assist in the revamp of an internal Spring League program for the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. She managed registrations, rosters, schedules, sponsorship agreements, and staffing oversight. 


Jane has been serving as the Assistant Director of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center at St. Cloud State University since 2020. In her role, Jane oversees the hiring, on-boarding, training and scheduling of the roughly 50 part-time staff members. Jane is responsible for scheduling the entire facility, which includes liaising with two Division I hockey tenants, a Division III hockey tenant, a youth association that books roughly 600 hours annually, a curling club, and University events. Beyond ice, Jane has experience with coordinating dry floor events including commencement ceremonies. 


Jane values the importance of networking and professional development in the industry. She earned her Certified Ice Technician (CIT) designation through the US Ice Rink Association in 2021. Jane began instructing for the US Ice Rink Association in 2022, in which she gets to travel the country to share her knowledge with other members of the industry. Beyond education, Jane has had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of events including Hockey Day Minnesota and USA Hockey’s Pond Hockey National Championships in Eagle River, WI.
